About Me
My Professional Background
I am a Data Scientist currently working at the University of California, Berkeley, where I have been contributing to research and scientific work for the past eight years. Previously, I worked at the University of Minnesota and the University of Michigan in the Physical and Biological Sciences.
I am currently studying Advanced Biosciences at University of California, Berkeley. My studies include Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, Anatomy, Human Physiology, and Neurology, allowing me to deepen my understanding of the science behind health, fitness, and human performance.
Coaching & Fitness Experience
Alongside my scientific career, I am passionate about fitness and coaching. I have 5+ experience as a boxing, kickboxing, and weight lifting coach at TITLE Boxing Club Oakland.
I teach group fitness classes and have worked individually with more than 25 clients, helping them achieve their personalized fitness and nutrition goals.
Personal Fitness Journey
My own journey in fitness has been a lifelong passion. I have practiced yoga and various forms of martial arts for over 15 years. Throughout this journey, I have also trained with a bodybuilding and nutrition coach and worked with an Eastern Medicine doctor, which has helped shape my holistic approach to health and wellness.
My Philosophy
Through both my scientific research and practical coaching experience, I have come to deeply understand that fitness and nutrition work together as parts of a holistic ecosystem of wellness. True transformation happens when we consider the whole person — their lifestyle, mindset, nutrition, and physical training.
